For the second straight year, the 2018 edition of the Transy Golf Classic returns to the Keene Run Golf Course in Nicholasville, Kentucky on Tuesday, August 14!
The annual Transy Golf Classic brings together coaches and teams from the Transylvania Athletic Department with participants for the chance for 18 holes of golf and an assortment of interactive contests out on the links. The four-person golf scramble format allows each of our golfers to converse with our coaches and get up close with the Pioneers.
This year's event offers the chance to play at Keene Run, the site of the upcoming 2019 NCAA Men's Golf National Championship which will be hosted by Transylvania University.
Check-in and registration for the Transy Golf Classic will open up at noon on August 14 followed by a shotgun-start tee-off at 1 PM.
This annual golf event benefits Transylvania Athletics, its 27 sponsored varsity sports, and over 400 student-athletes throughout the 2018-19 year. Funding generated by the golf classic is used to support team travel, equipment upgrades and maintenance, the RAFY's end-of-year banquet, and other needs which help contribute to a high-quality athletic experience for each of our student-athletes.
Spots remain available for golfers who wish to participate in foursomes or sign up as individuals within a four-team pairing.
Sponsorship opportunities are also available for those interested in displaying their company or organization's images at one of our 18 holes; additional sponsorship packages are also available for those interested in marketing opportunities on additional promotional materials and other areas on the course with high traffic.
Prior to tee-off, lunch will also be provided at Keene Run for each of our golfers – all you need to bring is a pair of clubs and your A-game!
We look forward to seeing you at Keene Run on August 14!
