LEXINGTON, Ky. - Transylvania's Sarah Zembrodt (Edgewood, Ky.) scored her first goal of the season on a header Wednesday, lifting the Pioneers to a 1-0 win over Centre in women's soccer action at Hall Field.

Transy is 6-0 on the season while the Colonels lost for the first time in five decisions.

The contest was scoreless into the 39th minute when Centre was called for a foul 30 yards to the right of the Transy goal. Kristin Tenhundfeld (W. Chester, Ohio) took the free kick and found Zembrodt just to the left of the goal, where she headed the ball into the left side of the net.

Centre outshot Transy 11-5 in the hard-fought contest and had a 6-1 edge in corners. Transy keeper Cori Hickman (Newark, Ohio) was credited with two saves.

The Pioneers return to action on Saturday, hosting Denison at 3 p.m.
