Lexington, Ky. – The Transylvania women's soccer team versus Hanover scheduled for Wednesday evening was postponed due to lightning strikes in the area.

With a driving storm approaching Lexington near the 7:00 p.m. Wednesday opening kick, lightning was observed in the area, forcing an automatic delay of the match. With torrential weather and lightning continuing into the evening, Transy and Hanover agreed to postpone play on Wednesday and re-schedule the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference match.

The match has been rescheduled for Sunday, October 10 at 2:00 p.m. at Pat Deacon Stadium.
