On a rainy Wednesday night in Lexington, the Pioneers faced off with the MSJ Lions after a lightning delayed start.
The Pioneers were tied going into halftime at 1-1, ultimately gave up one more goal to the Lions for the 1-2 loss.
"Credit to the opposition for coming to our place and fighting to the end and getting a massive result. We had our opportunities to creat chances but lacked a bit of quality at certain moments. We will review film and then look to find out where and how we can improve," said Co-Head Coach Marcus Aldaba.
The Pioneers will play against Defiance on Saturday for Senior Day.
