At John and Donna Hall Field for their home opener on what ended up being a beautiful Sunday afternoon, Transy Softball swept Illinois Wesleyan to go 2-0 on the day, now 5-1 overall.
Game one featured Carlee Jeter on the mound, earning her second win on the year with the 2-1 final score. Both RBI are credited to Emily Hestand, including her walk off double to right center to win the game.

For game two, freshman Sophie Moshos took the mound and earned her third win on the year, now 3-0. The Pioneers' bats started quick in game two with a three-run first inning to give Moshos the lead to take the rest of the game. They played add-on with a run in the third and another to follow in the fifth.
