LEXINGTON, KY - Two members of the Transylvania men's golf team, Connor Calhoun and Tom Buchert, have been named 2025-26 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).

The prestigious honor recognizes student-athletes who have excelled both on the course and in the classroom. To be eligible for the award, NCAA Division III nominees must be sophomores, juniors or seniors, compete in at least 50 percent of their team's competitive rounds, maintain a stroke average below 79.0, and hold a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.2. Recipients must also demonstrate high moral character and be in good standing at their institution.

Transylvania finished the season 17th nationally at the 2026 NCAA Division III Tournament after capturing the 2026 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament Championship.
