Coach Dylan Rajkovich enters his second season with the Transylvania baseball team as an assistant coach in 2019.
In his first season at Transylvania, Rajkovich helped the Pioneers achieve a four-win improvement from the season before as part of head coach Zack Getsee's staff.
Rajkovich joins the Pioneers baseball staff after spending the last three years at Webster Unversity, playing under former Webster assistant and current Transylvania head coach Zack Getsee. After graduating from Webster in 2016, Rajkovich joined the Webster coaching staff concurrently with Getsee’s departure for Transy.
As an assistant at Webster in 2016-17, Rajkovich specialized in recruiting and player development, helping guide player Josh Fleming into becoming a fifth-round draft pick of the Tampa Bay Rays in the 2017 Major League Baseball draft.
Rajkovich was part of memorable Webster teams which advanced to two NCAA Regionals and one NCAA Division III College World Series appearance during his time there. His individual accolades include a SCIAC All-Conference First Team and All-Conference Academic First Team selections, as well as a notable three-run homer in the 2015 NCAA Regional which vaulted Webster into the College World Series.
Rajkovich is a native of Orland Park, Illinois, where he attended Carl Sandburg High School and was a four-time letterwinner.
