Box Score LEXINGTON, Ky. - Rhodes hit Transylvania with three goals in the first 10 minutes Sunday and the Lynx went on to a 10-1 field hockey win over the Pioneers at Hall Field.

Transy moved to 2-8 on the year while Rhodes is 6-4.

Rhodes would up its margin to 7-0 before Transy's Kerri Kolarik (Louisville, KY, Eastern) scored in the 32nd minute. For Kolarik, it was her first collegiate score.

The Pioneers' defense stiffened in the second half, allowing just three goals, including one in the final seconds.

Transy keeper Sara Aschbacher (Louisville, KY, Sacred Heart Academy) had 14 saves. The Pioneers were out-shot by a 23-4 margin.

Transy is back in action on Wednesday when it plays host to Earlham. Game time is 4:30 p.m. at Hall Field.
