On Senior Day, Transy Field Hockey recognized Emily Cannon, Makenna Saward, Sophia Sparks, and Sidney Varney prior to the game for their dedication to the program over their time at Transylvania.

Saward was able to record a hat trick and Maddi Slaughter recorded her first career goal. 

Interim Head Coach Natalie Hernandez said of the win, "So proud of our team for playing together and executing things we do everyday in practice! We have been emphasizing finishing corners and we scored 5 of our goals on that. This is a special win since it was on senior day! We all love our seniors and played for them today!"
