#3 Transy Women's Basketball defeats Bluffton 63-45 for their third HCAC win

The #3 Pioneers faced their third HCAC opponent of the season today against the Bluffton Beavers resulting in a win with a final score of 63-45. Transy Women's Basketball is now 7-0 on the season and 3-0 in HCAC play. After finishing the first quarter up 14-8, the Pioneers pulled away in the second quarter outsourcing the Beavers 23-10. 

  • Dasia Thornton- 16 points and 14 rebounds for the double-double

  • Kennedi Stacy- 13 points, 4 rebounds, 4 steals

  • Maddie Kellione- 11 points, 3 rebounds

  • Laken Ball- 11 points, 4 rebounds

  • Team total 43 rebounds

"We rebounded well on offense which was important as we were struggling to shoot from the perimeter. I thought our effort was really good coming out of finals week," said Head Coach Dr. Juli Fulks. 

The Pioneers will be back at Beck on December 13th for a game with Spaulding at 7:00 PM.
