In their fifth HCAC matchup, #3 Transy Women's Basketball remains undefeated at 5-0 in HCAC, 13-0 overall. The Pioneers held the Quakers to just 31 points, the fewest allowed points this season. Twelve different scorers, five in double digits, and 28 points off the bench helped Transy take the lead from the start and have zero lead changes on the game. The Pioneers also posted 66 rebounds over the Quakers' 28. With her consistent contribution to the team's rebounding efforts, senior Dasia Thornton has now passed the 500 rebound milestone in her career and will be honored at the next home game.

"I was really proud of our overall intensity today and attacking at the rim over the course of 40 minutes. Defensively, we were very sound in multiple looks which helps build our schematic options in the future," said Head Coach Dr. Juli Fulks. 

The Pioneers will be on the road for another HCAC matchup this weekend at Defiance for a 1:00 PM start.
