On the road at Franklin College, the #2 Pioneers defeated the Grizzlies 76-46. While they finished the first quarter up 13-7, they pulled away by out-scoring the Grizzlies 26-8 in the second quarter. Senior Madison Kellione surpassed 1,000 career points in this game after three years of playing as a Pioneer and will be recognized in front of the home crowd before Saturday's game at Beck at 2:00PM.
"We've been working on extending our defense in the full court and that brought us needed energy tonight. Additionally, I'm proud of Maddie Kellione for hitting 1000 points in just her 3rd season of playing. She has been a fundamental piece of her offense and deserves all of the accolades awarded to her," said Head Coach Juli Fulks.
