LEXINGTON - The no. 2 ranked Transylvania Pioneers dominated Manchester from start to finish to earn their largest margin of victory over the Spartans in program history. All 17 Pioneers saw action in the win.
With the win, Transylvania extends the NCAA's longest active win streak to 56 games.
The Pioneers continue to add on to their historic run, as they hold the 7th longest win streak in NCAA DIII women's basketball history, the 11th longest win streak in all NCAA divisions for women's basketball, and the 15th longest win streak in college basketball history.
Before the game, Transylvania honored their two seniors
Kennedy Harris, and
Sydney Wright for senior day. Harris and Wright have been a part of the most dominant run in the history of Transylvania Women's Basketball, winning 96 games, 2 HCAC regular season championships, 3 HCAC tournament championships, earned 3 NCAA tournament berths, won 9 NCAA tournament games, and won the first national championship in school history last season while riding a 56 game win streak the last two seasons.

Transy opened the scoring onslaught early, going up 6-0 before Manchester made their only basket of the quarter. Transylvania then scored 36 consecutive points to put the game away early. The Pioneers rode into the half up 46-8.
The 8 points given up was the least amount of points in a half this season for Transylvania and the 22 points was the least amount given up in a game by the Pioneer defense this season.
Transylvania continued to pour it on in the second half, scoring 18 points in the third quarter and 19 in the fourth. Manchester scored just 14 second half points while going 0-17 from three point range in the game.
