FRANKLIN, IN - Transylvania closed their 2025 regular season with a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) victory on the road at Franklin, and will now shift their focus to postseason play as they host a quarterfinal match up with Earlham on Saturday.Â
Carrie Stevens saved the first shot of the evening in the opening minutes from Franklin, just minutes later, Transylvania would land their first goal of the evening.

Reagan Johansen, landed a goal in the sixth minute to give the Pioneers a 1-0 lead. Stevens would block another Franklin attempt in the first half, taking their one goal lead into the break. The second half would start much like the first for Transylvania, as
Kayla Hermann landed the second goal for the Pioneers within the first three minutes. Transylvania would maintain their lead in the second half, finishing off a 2-0 conference victory.Â
Carrie Stevens recorded two saves in 63 minutes in the goal for the Pioneers.
Transylvania (5-8-5) moves into postseason play on Saturday, hosting Earlham at Pat Deacon Stadium in an HCAC quarterfinal match up at 2:00 p.m.
