DANVILLE, KY - Transylvania Men's Tennis fell short in a match up with Centre College on Saturday. 

Doubles

1. Jackson Fischer and Jacob Jiranek defeated Centre's Jasper Gazzo and Chase Turley 7-5. 
2. Centre's Ty Bush and Dylan Dethridge defeated Chase Moreman and Alejandro Perez 7-6, including a tiebreaker. 
3. Centre's Jett Anderson and Issac Flanery defeated Jonathan Kepnes and Tobias Mandeville 6-2. 

Singles 

1. Centre's Ty Bush defeated Jackson Fischer 7-5 in set one, 6-1 in set two. 
2. Centre's Issac Flanery defeated Ravi Tedeschi 6-2 in both sets. 
3. Centre's Jasper Gazzo defeated Jacob Jiranek 6-3 in set one, 6-2 in set two. 
4. Centre's Dylan Dethridge defeated Alejandro Perez 6-4 in set one, 6-0 in set two. 
5. Centre's Jett Anderson defeated Chase Moreman 6-0 in set one, 6-1 in set two. 
6. Centre's Chase Turley defeated Tobias Mandeville 6-1 in set one, 6-0 in set two. 

"We didn't get the result we wanted today, but the group is on the right track," said Head Coach Kevin Calhoun. "They competed well and earned some chances, but we didn't convert."

Transylvania returns to action on Saturday, March 1st, as they travel to take on Wittenberg.
