LEXINGTON, KY - The Transylvania men's tennis team showed resilience on Saturday, bouncing back from a tough doubles round to deliver a strong effort in singles play. Jacob Jiranek and Chase Moreman led the way with key victories, while several matches went the distance in tightly contested battles. Despite falling in all three doubles contests, the Pioneers displayed grit and determination across the singles lineup, but Rose-Hulman would earn the victory, defeating the Pioneers 6-3. 
 

Doubles

Tim Eckermann & Chris Lian defeated Jacob Jiranek & Chase Moreman, 6-4

Grant Paradowski & Ervin Perkowski defeated Tobias Mandeville & Alejandro Perez, 6-2

Eli McIntyre & Ephraim Guthrie defeated Luke Earlywine & Jonathan Kepnes, 6-2

Singles

Ravi Tedeschi defeated Tim Eckermann, 6-2, 6-3

Jacob Jiranek defeated Ervin Perkowski, 7-6(9), 6-4

Grant Paradowski defeated Alejandro Perez, 7-5, 6-7(5), 7-6(4)

Chase Moreman defeated Ephraim Guthrie, 4-6, 6-4, 6-1

Chris Lian defeated Tobias Mandeville, 7-6(7), 6-1

Eli McIntyre defeated Luke Earlywine, 6-2, 6-4

Prior to the match, Transylvania celebrated their senior class of 2025, recognizing the career and accomplishment of Jacob Cooper.
