LEXINGTON, KY - Nine Pioneers scored on Tuesday as Transylvania earned an HCLC victory over Mount St. Joseph, 21-2, at Pat Deacon Stadium. Transylvania started with an offensive display, scoring nine goals in the first quarter. They would score four goals in each of the remaining quarters in the victory. The Pioneers offense was firing on all cylinders, as they out shot MSJ 41-5, 32 of the shots were on goal. Transylvania also maintained possession, giving up only ten turnovers. 

TaNya Barbee led the Pioneers with five goals, followed by four from Charlotte Green, three from Sofie Garrett and two each from Presley Helton, Lilly Craft and Avery Kirkhope. Diana Bruder, Grace Bruner and Macy Hobbs-Powell also scored for the Pioneers. Kirkhope led the team with three assists.

Grace Smilek-Edwards protected the goal for Transylvania, recording two saves in the 60:00 performance. 

Up next for the Pioneers is another HCLC match up on Saturday, April 12th, as Transylvania travels to Hanover for a 4:00 p.m. match up. Transylvania returns for their regular season finale on Wednesday, April 23rd, hosting Spalding.
