LEXINGTON, KY -Â Trip Rogers has been named Head Coach of the Transylvania University Women's Soccer program.

Rogers brings a wealth of experience to the role, most recently serving as Associate Head Coach for the women's soccer program at Centre College. Prior to his time at Centre, Rogers served as the Head Coach at Division II University of Findlay, leading the Oilers to a 21-3-5 record over two seasons, capturing the Great Midwest Conference Tournament Championship in 2021.
"Transylvania Athletics is thrilled to welcome Trip Rogers," said Kevin Calhoun, Assistant Athletic Director and Men's Tennis Coach. "Trip has had success in every position he has held, but more importantly he resonates with student-athletes. He will be an amazing addition to our Women's Soccer program and I can't wait to see where this season takes them."

Rogers served as Assistant Coach at Morehead State University from 2015 through 2020, overseeing recruitment coordination, goalkeeper training, scout team coaching and system implementation. Prior to his time at Morehead State, he served as Head Coach at Midway College for five seasons and as the Assistant Coach for the men's soccer program at Georgetown College for two seasons.

In addition to his collegiate experience, Rogers oversaw the Kentucky Olympic Development Program for the Kentucky Youth Soccer Association from 2007 through 2023 and serves as Director of Coaching for the Bluegrass Soccer Club. Rogers earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from the University of Kentucky in 2003.

Transylvania Women's Soccer finished the 2024 campaign with a record of 8-6-3. The Pioneers received numerous Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) awards, including Newcomer of the Year winner
McKenna Johnson and seven All-Conference performers. Rogers is looking forward to continuing to elevate the Pioneers to even greater heights.Â
