OBERLIN, OHIO - Transylvania Field Hockey fell 3-1 to Oberlin on Saturday at Knowlton Stadium in the first round of their two game weekend road trip. 

Transylvania would strike first in the morning match up, with Lucy Cohen scoring her second goal of the season in the opening quarter at the 08:20 mark. In the second quarter, Oberlin scored two goals to take a 2-1 advantage into the halftime break. 

Oberlin scored their final goal of the afternoon in the closing moments of the third quarter. They would maintain their lead to take the 3-1 victory. 

Caroline Seaward applied pressure to the Oberlin defense, taking three shots, including one on goal, that weren't able to land. Peyton Steinriede had another strong performance in the goal, recording four saves for the Pioneers. Ruby Himes recorded two. 

Transylvania's road trip continues Sunday with a noon match up at The College of Wooster.
