On the men's side, Otterbein won with 174.5 points. Next came Wilmington at 137, Capital (106.5), Wittenberg (80), Mt. St. Joseph (51), Rio Grande (24.5), and Transy (8).
For the women, Otterbein had 209.5 points to win the meet at the Clements Recreation Center, finishing ahead of Wilmington (101), Capital (90), Wittenberg (78.5), Cuyahoga (32), Ohio Dominican (24), Mt. St. Joseph (18), Transy (10), and Rio Grande (5).
Among the top performances for the Pioneers included a fifth-place showing by Mason Williams in the 500 meter dash, a seventh place finish by Chris Saldana in the 1000 meter run, and a 13th-place finish by Williams in the 200 meter dash. Saldana was 14th in the 400 meter dash.
Williams' time of 24.24 in the 200 was a new school record, bettering Ben Lyvers' old mark of 24.31.
For the women, Shelby Auxier finished fifth in the 60 meter dash and seventh in the 400 meter dash. Laura Clark with fifth in the 1000 meter run, and Kelsey Meade was ninth in the mile.
The Pioneers are back in action on Saturday when they run in the Defiance Invitational.
