On the women's side, Hanover took the team title with 189 points, followed by Campbellsville with 162, Defiance with 116, and Notre Dame at 57.5. The Transy women accumulated 14 points to tie Indiana East and best Union (7.5) and Spalding (6).
For the men, Notre Dame had 128 points to top Defiance (104) and Thomas More (89). Next came Mount St. Joseph with 86 points and Hanover with 65. Transy had five points as a team.
For the women, highlights included a second place showing by Shelby Auxier in the 100 meter dash in a time of 13.3. Auxier was also fifth in the 200 dash in 28.23. Elizabeth Hardt was 11th in the 400 meter dash. Annie Edkins took seventh in the 1500 meter run.
For the men, Mason Williams and Ben Lyvers were 16th and 17th in the 200 meter dash and Williams was sixth in the 400. Ben Hoseus was seventh in the 800 meter run. Chris Saldana was 16th in the 1500 meter run.
The men's and women's track teams will be back in action on Saturday when they compete in the Hanover Invitational
