Sprague, cross country have breakout day at Wilmington
WILMINGTON, Ohio – Freshman Kyle Sprague notched a spot on Transylvania's top ten all-time in 8Ks on Friday, as men and women's cross country recorded personal bests at the #JennaStrong Fall Classic at Wilmington College of Ohio.

Men's cross country had a breakout day as each Pioneer recorded a personal record time for the 8K. Behind Sprague was freshman Alex Czujko o cross the finish line with a time of 28:46.83. Sophomore Chris Saldana notched a time of 30:20.22 as the second Pioneer finisher. Freshman Andre wMeyer competed the course in 33:02.72, followed by junior Thomas Amburn (33:39.32) and sophomore Akin Erol (35:30.78)

On the women's side, freshman Olivia Schaefer led the Pioneers with a time of 22:09.60, followed by junior Alexis Carey (22:37.80), and senior Alex Rand (24:58.86). Sophomore newcomer Stephanie Wright recorded a personal best, 25:40.22.
