Emilee Heffner is a dedicated and passionate coach with a strong foundation in collegiate athletics and youth sports development. Originally from Dallas, Georgia, Emilee brings years of playing and coaching experience to the field, with a proven track record of leadership and commitment to athlete growth.
A dual-sport collegiate athlete at Oglethorpe University, Emilee played four years of soccer (2017–2021) and five years of lacrosse (2018–2022), serving as a two-year captain for the Women’s Lacrosse Team. She graduated from Oglethorpe in May 2021 with a B.S. in Psychology, where she combined her understanding of human behavior with athletic performance—a blend that continues to inform her coaching style today.
Following graduation, Emilee served as a volunteer assistant coach for both the Women's Soccer and Lacrosse programs at Oglethorpe from August 2021 to September 2023. She then went on to become the Assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach at Piedmont University, where she coached from October 2023 to June 2024. In addition to her collegiate coaching roles, Emilee has worked with several local club soccer and lacrosse programs in the Atlanta area from 2020 to 2023, focusing on skill development, confidence, and teamwork in young athletes.
Currently, Emilee is pursuing a Master’s degree in Sport Management from the University of Florida. Her coaching philosophy emphasizes athlete development through mentorship, discipline, and fostering a genuine love for the game.
