Greenwood, Ind. - Sophomore Sarah Haerle led the list of nine Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference postseason award winners, according to a conference press release on Thursday.
Haerle, a sophomore from Newburgh, Indiana, was named to the All-HCAC First Team following the conclusion of this weekend's inaugural HCAC Swimming and Diving Championships in Terre Haute, Indiana.
The sophomore earned her way onto the first team by winning two individual titles in the women's 100-yard and 200-yard breaststroke.
Haerle headlined a list of Transylvania women's swimmers who were named All-HCAC Honorable Mention for the 2017-2018 season.
Four Transylvania men's swimmers earned postseason hardware as freshmen Noah Collins, Drew Dodds, Ben Smith, and senior Zachary Griffis were all selected as All-HCAC Honorable Mentions. Kelsey Stevens was named to the HCAC All-Sportsmanship Team for the Transylvania women's swim team while Griffis received All-Sportsmanship recognition for the Transylvania men.
The Pioneers wrapped up the 2017-2018 season at the HCAC Championships, which also marked the conclusion of the first season under new head coach Dave Doolin.
