The indoor track season gets underway this weekend. Transy's men and women will travel to the Otterbein Invitational on Saturday.
Following Rose-Hulman on the men's preseason poll were Defiance, Manchester, Franklin, Anderson, Hanover, Earlham, Mt. St. Joseph, Bluffton, and Transylvania. The Engineers received 100 points and all 10 first-place ballots in the coaches poll. Rose-Hulman has won the first two HCAC indoor championships and will be looking for its third in a row in February at Deviance.
On the women's side, Hanover received nine first-place votes and 95 points to top Rose-Hulman (87). Those two were followed by Franklin, Manchester, Anderson, Defiance, Bluffton, Mt. St. Joseph, Earlham, and Transy.
Hanover won the school's first indoor championsip last year, topping Rose-Hulman by a point.
