Williams sets school mark in DePauw Invitational
GREENCASTLE, Ind. - Transylvania's Mason Williams set a pair of school records Saturday as the men's and women's track and field team competed in the DePauw Indoor Invitational.

The men's team posted a 20th place finish while the women did not post a team score.

Williams had school records in both the 200 and 400 meter dashes. Transy's Chris Saldana had a season best time in the mile, missing a school record by just more than a second. Akin Erol had a personal record in the 60 meter dash.

Williams time in the 200 was 23.97 and it was 52.95 in the 400. Saldana ran a 5:04.31 in the mile.

For the women, Shelby Auxier had a personal record in the 60 meter dash and a season best time in the 400 meter. Laura Clark had a peersonal  best time in the 800 meter.

On the men's side, Wabash won with 133 points while Rose-Hulman was second at 118 and Southern Indiana third at 67. For the women,  Bellarmine won with 120 points and Campbellsville had 99. Rhodes was third with 74 and DePauw was next with 71.

The Pioneers are back in action on Saturday when they compete in the Heartland Conference Indoor Championships, hosted by Defiance.
