Alaina White is in her eighth season as a member of theTransylvania Sports Medicine staff in 2013-14. She served fiveyears as assistant athletic trainer before being named headathletic trainer in  2011.

White holds a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training degree fromOhio University and a Master of Science in Physical Education withan emphasis in Sports Administration from Eastern KentuckyUniversity.

Alaina White is a Certified Athletic Trainer through the AthleticTraining Board of Certification, Licensed Athletic Trainer by theKentucky Medical Board of Licensure and a First Aid/CPR/AEDInstructor for the American Heart Association. Her professionalmemberships include Kentucky Athletic Trainers’ Society(KATS), South Eastern Athletic Trainers’ Association (SEATA),and the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA). White Serves as an Approved Clinical Instructor for the EasternKentucky University accredited undergraduate athletic trainingeducation program.

Alaina has a special interest in soft tissue mobilization andhands-on rehabilitation. She has a certification in Sound-AssistedSoft Tissue Mobilization.

Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Alaina now resides in Lexington,Ky. with her dog Scout. She enjoys walking, hiking, jogging, andtaking in a local sports game, or seeing a movie with friends.
