Lexington, Ky. – Powered by a brace from Abby Baker, the Transylvania women's soccer team earned a 2-0 victory over the Mount St. Joseph University Lions at Pat Deacon Stadium on Sunday night.
The win is Transylvania's third straight and moves the Pioneers record to 5-2 on the season with just one game remaining in the regular season while the Lions fall to 3-2 overall and in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference play with the loss.

The Pioneers battered the Mount St. Joseph defense throughout the evening, outshooting the Lions 22-10 on the night.
Morgan Patton picked up the victory in net for Transylvania. The junior was locked in throughout the evening, collecting seven saves, including six in the decisive second half. The shutout was Patton's third of the season.
The Pioneers will wrap up the regular season with a trip to Franklin, Indiana, on Wednesday, March 31, to take on the Franklin College Grizzlies. First touch between the Pioneers and Grizzlies is set for 7:00 p.m. at Faught Stadium.
