Cameron Deckett has been joined the Sports Medicine team at Transylvania University as Assistant Athletic Trainer.

Deckett arrives with previous experience from multiple levels, including most recently serving as Head Athletic Trainer for Lexington Christian Academy from June 2018 through May 2025. Prior to his time at LCA, he served as Head Athletic Trainer at Drury University in the program's inaugural seasons of wrestling. He also has experience working with Varsity Spirit and completed an internship with Missouri State University's soccer, football and baseball programs.

Deckett holds a Masters of Science in Athletic Training, as well as a Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training (Magna Cum Laude) from Missouri State University.
