    NEW CONCORD, Ohio - Transylvania senior Brian Williams (Lexington, Ky.) scored a pair  of second-half goals Saturday, lifting the Pioneers to a 4-2 victory  over Muskingum in men's soccer action.
Transy is 4-1-1 on the season while Muskingum is 4-2-1.
Transy took a 1-0 seven minutes into the contest when Peter Mikhail  converted a corner service from Zach Lange (Florence, Ky.). After Muskingum tied the  contest, the Pioneers scored in the 34th minute on a goal by Kyle Smith (Cincinnati, Ohio)  set up by a pass from Williams.
The Pioneers went up 3-1 in the second half on Williams' first goal,  set up by an assist from Smith. Williams' last goal came in the 88th  minute on an assist from Tyler Crombie (Frankfort, Ky.).
Transy had 17 shots to 12 for the home team and took five corners to  four for Muskingum. Freshman Alex Schmitt (Ft. Mitchell, Ky.) had one save in goal for  Transy.
The Pioneers return to action on Wednesday, hosting Maryville at 4 p.m. in non-conference action at Thomas Field.
