Box Score TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Tony Spero scored a pair of goals Saturday, propelling the Pioneers to a 3-1 win over Rose-Hulman in men's soccer action.

The Pioneers improved to 3-3-2 overall, 1-0 in Heartland Conference play, while Rose-Hulman is 5-4, 0-1 HCAC.

Transy built a 3-0 lead in the game before the Engineers got on the board in the 76th minute.

Robbie Gorham (Nicholasville, Ky., Lex. Catholic)'s first goal of the year, a 20-yard strike that found the bottom right of the net, got the Pioneers on the board at the six-minute mark.
Spero (Lexington, KY, Dunbar) converted a penalty kick in the 36th minute for a 2-0 advantage. He then took a Kyle Smith (Cincinnati, Ohio, LaSalle) pass and found the net in the 62nd minute to cap the scoring for Transy. He converted from eight yards out.

Freshman Taylor Nossokoff (Lexington, KY, Dunbar) got his second straight win in the goal for Transy, making five saves.

Transy returns to action on Wednesday, hosting Capital at 5 p.m. at Thomas Field.
