Box Score LEXINGTON, Ky. - Transylvania's Eric Froschauer scored the game-winning goal Saturday in the 48th minute to lift the Pioneers over Anderson 3-0  in the Heartland Conference men's soccer opener for both teams.

The Pioneers improved to 7-1-1 on the season and remain undefeated at home.  The loss pushes the Ravens back to 4-8 overall.

Froschauer connected early in the second half off a corner to put the Pioneers up 1-0.  Kyle Smith gave Transy some cushion in the 73rd minute after he was able to find the back of the net off a Bryce Burton assist.  Stephen Willoughby hammered home the final goal for the Pioneers after beating a defender to score in the lower right corner for the third goal.

Transy had an impressive 13-1 shot margin, and also led in corner kick attempts 5-3.

Anderson's keeper Chris Maloney had five saves on the day, and Transy's Taylor Nossokoff was credited with the shut out.  

The Pioneers continue conference play when they are back in action at Hanover on Tuesday. They are back at home on Saturday against Manchester.
