The Pioneers claimed momentum with a 9-0 run behind seven straight points from Gentry to surge towards a 19-15 advantage. Bluffton tied up the game at 19-19 before Michael Jefferson scored on a layup to put the Pioneers back in front at 21-19 with five minutes left in the half.

Bluffton shot 8 for 14 from three-point range in the first half compared to a 1 for 12 mark for the Pioneers from downtown.

The Beavers' offense remained consistent in the second half as four different Bluffton players scored in double digits on the evening. Duce Ralls scored on a runner with 11:22 to go in regulation to slice the Transy deficit down to 12 points but the Beavers answered with a 10-1 run over the next three minutes to put the game out of reach.

Bluffton finished the game 10 of 23 from three-point range while the Pioneers mustered 2 of 21 shooting from outside.
