The Pioneers started off strong, scoring two quickly on the Fightin' Engineers in the first minutes of the match. The Fightin' Engineers put up three goals of their own in the first half, both teams would be scoreless in the second half.

Up next for men's soccer is an away match at Franklin on Wednesday to close out the regular season.  

"The guys really battled today. We came out fast and executed really well. Unfortunately, when you play a quality side like Rose, they punish every mistake you make. Credit to their players and coaches. We proved we can compete at a high level, now it's time to finish the regular season strong," said Head Coach Ben Federici.
