Lexington, Ky. – On Senior Night 2022, the Transylvania men's basketball team pulled away from the Earlham College Quakers at the Clive M. Beck Center on their way to an 84-72 victory. The win makes four straight for Transylvania to finish up the regular season.
The Pioneers celebrated the careers of
Zach Larimore,
Jack Patton,
Aiden Pashley,
Cameron King, and
JD Marshall, and after a back and forth first half, took over in the second to send off the seniors of 2022 on a high note.
With 22 points, and a team leading 9 rebounds, Larimore made a huge impact all over the floor. Playing a team leading 35 minutes, the senior exited in the final minute to a standing ovation.

Colby Napier had a career night, providing a massive spark to a steady Pioneers offense. Napier finished the night with a career high 28 points. The game leading total came from a remarkable 12-15 from the field and perfect 8-8 from the free throw line.
With Larimore and Napier leading the way, the Pioneers built a seven point lead five minutes into the second half. A flash of hot three point shooting from the Quakers gave them a two point lead at the midway point of the second half, however a key 10-0 run for Transylvania swung things in their direction for the rest of the contest.
Transylvania concludes the regular season and enters the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament on a roll, riding four straight crucial conference wins. Transylvania as the number 4 seed will play host the number 5 seed Anderson at 1 PM.
