For their first matchup in HCAC play, the Pioneers defeated the Beavers 2-0 for the shutout with both goals coming in the second half.
"Really solid way to start conference play. I feel like we are starting to come together as a team. We have plenty of things to clean up, but I'm happy with our performance. Now we shift our focus to a tough challenge on the weekend," said Head Coach Ben Federici.
