WOOSTER, Ohio - For their third away game of the season, The Transylvania Women's Lacrosse team traveled to the College of Wooster to take on the Fighting Scots. Wooster proved to be a tough opponent for the Pioneers, with today's game resulting in a final score of 23-12. As a team, the Pioneers won 16 draw controls and picked up 15 ground balls on the day. 

Junior Charlotte Green led the offense for the Pioneers, totaling three goals and two assists while winning seven draw controls. With Green's second goal of her hat trick, she reached the milestone of 100 career goals. Junior Diana Bruder added three goals of her own and won three draw controls. Freshman Sofie Garrett also contributed to the scoring, adding two goals and one assist. Junior Lula Thompson scored on both of her free-position shots, making a perfect two for two on the day. She also added two assists and won three draw controls. Fifth-year senior Sophia Sparks had an all-around game, totaling one goal and one assist while winning two draw controls and collecting two ground balls. She led the Pioneers in caused turnovers with two. Senior Linley Dawson added a goal of her own and led the team in ground balls, collecting three. Goalkeeper Jana Carlisle totaled 11 saves. 

Head Coach Rachael Bragg had this to say after the game, "We have some things to work on in order to string together our best efforts and bright spots while we also work to keep our errors spread out to keep them from snowballing. We're going to keep moving forward and get after it this week to prep and take good momentum into our next matchup". 

The Pioneers will be on the road again for their next contest, where they will face Ohio Wesleyan on March 30th at 1 pm.
