LEXINGTON - For the first time ever, Transylvania Baseball will be hosting an NCAA Regional.
The Pioneers (32-12) play host to Spalding University (Louisville, Kentucky), Birmingham Southern College (Birmingham, Alabama), and Beloit College (Beloit, Wisconsin).
Transylvania has earned an NCAA At Large bid for the first time ever, and will host the four team regional at Legends Field, home of the Lexington Legends. The Pioneers went 18-6 in the regular season at their new home stadium, their most wins at home since the 2021 season, which was the last time Transylvania played in the NCAA tournament.

Zack Getsee has led Transy to their second 30+ win season in the last four years, and their first trip to the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference championship appearance since 2021.
Transylvania has earned the 2 seed for the regional, and will take on the 3 seed Birmingham Southern, the regional's other At Large Bid representing the Southern Athletic Conference. The last time these two teams met was in 2017. It's the first time both have met in the NCAA tournament.
In the opening game of the Lexington Regional, the No. 1 seed Spalding will face the No. 4 seed Beloit College at 11 AM. Transylvania's game against Birmingham Southern will follow at 2:30 PM.
With the best ballpark in NCAA Division III, fans can expect an exciting weekend, and enjoy three days worth of some of the best baseball being played in all of DIII at Legends Field, which holds 6,500 fans.
Transylvania University invites the local Lexington community to head down to Legends Field to support the Pioneers, who are looking to advance to the NCAA Super Regional for the first time ever.

TICKETS
- ??Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for college students/17 years old under/; 3 & under are free.
- ??Tickets are good for the entire day of the tournament.
- ??You can purchase ahead of time and avoid the lines by going to the Transy Ticket portal.
- ??We only accept credit, debit, Google pay, or Apple pay for purchasing tickets.
PARKING
- ??Parking is $5 per car. Cash is accepted for parking.
- ??Entry into stadium for the tournament will be the main gates.
CONCESSIONS
• Concessions will be open offering a wide variety of offerings for food and beverages. Credit card only.
FACILITY POLICIES
- ??Clear tote bags made of plastic, vinyl, or PVC will be allowed, as well as clear plastic storage/freezer resealable bags or small purses or wallets. Items such as backpack, large purses, tote bags, and luggage will not be permitted.
Diaper bags will also be allowed but will be subject to search at the gate.
- ??No outside food or beverage is permitted.
- ??No tobacco or smoking permitted.
