KANSAS CITY, MO - The United Soccer Coaches announced the 2025 NCAA Division III Men's and Women's All-Americans on Thursday, Dylan Barnes was named as an All-American, selected to the Third Team. 

The accomplishment capstones a season unlike any other for Barnes and the Men's Soccer program. Barnes was named Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Midfielder of the Year for the second year in a row in addition to being selected to the HCAC All-Conference First Team. Barnes was in the top-10 in shots (24), shots on-goal (13), goals (8), game-winning goals (4) and points (17) in conference play. Barnes was second overall in goals (10) and points (25)

Transylvania finished the season earning the HCAC regular season title and the 2025 HCAC Conference Tournament, earning an appearance in the 2025 NCAA National Tournament, where the Pioneers fell to the University of Lynchburg in the opening round. The Pioneers finished with a record of 14-3-3 overall and 9-0 in the HCAC. It was the first time in program history that the team finished 9-0 in conference play, and only the third time in conference history that a team finished 9-0.
