LEXINGTON, KY - On Saturday afternoon, the Transylvania Pioneers hosted the Lake Forest Foresters at Pat Deacon Stadium. Due to inclement weather within the area, the game was called final shortly into the fourth quarter with a final score of 15-10.

In the 12th minute of the opening period, Avery Kirkhope found Charlotte Green to open up the scoring for the Pioneers. Two minutes later, Green scores her second of the game, assisted by Presley Helton. At the 06:10 mark, Green completes her hat-trick with Kirkhope getting her second assist on the day. Lake Forest scored their first goal of the afternoon with two minutes remaining. The foresters would continue to score, and close out the opening period with a score of 3-3.

Lake Forest continued their scoring efforts and scored at the 13:42 mark of the second quarter. A minute later, Kirkhope's and Green's connection continued to be effective for the Pioneers, as Green finds her fourth goal of the match. On a free position shot, Sophie Garrett put the Pioneers back in front 6-4. Lake Forest went on a 6 goal run as the second quarter winded down. Garrett's second goal of the game came on another free position shot with just a second remaining in the half, putting the Pioneers down three at the break.

To open up the second half, Lake Forest continued to show their offensive ways and scored two quick goals in the third quarter.
