LEXINGTON, KY - Transylvania celebrated their ten members of the class of 2025 and clinched the regular season in the Heartland Collegiate Lacrosse Conference (HCLC) with a 20-3 victory over Earlham at Pat Deacon Stadium Saturday.Â
Transylvania wasted no time offensively, opening the game with a six goal first quarter and never looking back. Transylvania had 13 different players find the back of the net in the victory. Sophomore
Luke Stetter led the charge with a hat trick, while
Andrew Welch (2),
Huck Campbell (2),
Andrew Welch (2),
Luke Hinton (2),
Josh Harney (2) and
Luke Larish (2) all scored multiple goals for the Pioneers.Â
The Pioneers tallied 38 shots on goal and collected 28 ground balls. Faceoff specialist
Briggs Beck dominated the draw, winning 11 of 14, helping the Pioneers control possession throughout the match. Defensively, the Pioneers were just as sharp. Goalie
Brandon Worzel made five saves, while the defensive unit held Earlham scoreless until late in the third quarter.
With the win, Transylvania finished the regular season and stays perfect in HCLC play, clinching the regular season. Prior to the start of the game, Transylvania recognized their senior class of
