ALBION, MI - Transylvania split a Sunday afternoon double header on the road at Albion, falling 0-1 in the first game, but earning their 18th victory of the season in the second game, 1-0. 

Game One - Transylvania 0, Albion 1

Albion scored the game's only run in the first inning, and pitcher Lacie Zaskowski held Transylvania scoreless the rest of the way. 

Ella Steczynski led the Pioneers with two hits. Avery Parsons and Reagan Rouleau each had a hit in the loss. Reagan Gibson pitched four innings for Transylvania, giving up only five hits and one run. She struck out two batters. 

Game Two - Transylvania, 1, Albion 0

Transylvania returned to the win column in the second game, earning the 1-0 victory in seven innings. 

Transylvania's winning run came in the top of the sixth inning. Rouleau reached first base on an error before advancing to second from a ground out Steczynski.  Avery Parsons would then single and advance to second, earning an RBI as Rouleau scored. 

Rouleau, Steczynski, Young and Tharp all recorded hits for the Pioneers. Maddie Goddard earned the victory for Transylvania, pitching all seven innings and only giving up three hits, no runs. She struck out five batters in the victory.
