CARMEL, Ind. – The Heartland Collegiate Lacrosse Conference (HCLC) released the 2025 Women's Lacrosse All-Conference Teams and award winners on Tuesday. The Northville, Michigan Senior native had an outstanding year where she ranked in the top ten in goals per game, points per game, caused turnovers per game and draw controls per game.
For the second year in a row, Transylvania University's
Charlotte Green (Northville, Mich.) earned the 2025 HCLC Offensive Player of the Year title. The senior is ranked in the top 10 of the HCLC in goals per game (3.25), points per game (4), caused turnovers per game (2) and draw controls per game (5.75).
Spalding University Golden Eagle
Nicole Hollowell (Orlando, Fla.), earned the title of 2025 HCLC Defensive Player of the Year. Hollowell is ranked 2nd in the HCLC for caused turnovers per game (2.2) and 1st in total caused turnovers in conference play (11). Her defensive skills helped lead her squad to a spot in the HCLC tournament.
Earning the honor of Newcomer of the Year is Anderson University's
Sarah Weist (Middletown, Ohio). Sarah leads her Ravens squad in scoring. With 16 goals in conference and 2 assists, Sarah was able to show her dominance on the field. She finds herself in the top 10 in the HCLC for goals per game (3.2) and shots per game (6.8) in conference play.
Earning the title of Coach of the Year in a vote of league coaches was Franklin front man,
Todd Burris. Earning the title of Coach of the Year in a vote of league coaches was Franklin front man, Todd Burris. Despite an injury ridden season, Coach Burris earned recognition for leading his Grizzly squad through the season with strong leadership, sportsmanship, and dedication.
Offensive Player of the Year: Charlotte Green, Transylvania University
Defensive Player of the Year: Nicole Hollowell, Spalding University
Newcomer Player of the Year: Sarah Weist, Anderson University
Coach of the Year: Todd Burris, Franklin College
The HCLC also honors an All-Conference First Team and Second Team. The members of those teams are nominated and selected by a vote of league coaches.
