CARMEL, Ind. – The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Men's Golf teams competed in week three of the 2025-26 season.
Tom Buchert finished T-15 shooting +1 (72–73–72—217). Buchert's +1 led Transylvania, beat a number of the top 25, and assisted in the team beating the number one team in the nation.

Tom Buchert (Cincinnati, Ohio) Transylvania University | Senior - Senior,
Tom Buchert, delivered consistency throughout the week at the Gate City Invitational. Buchert beat several of the top 25 in the nation, along with assisting Transylvania to beating the number one team in the nation. Tom finished in a tie for 15th at +1 (72–73–72—217) to lead Transylvania individually. Buchert's final-round even-par 72 included 14 pars, anchoring the team on Tuesday. Over the course of three rounds, Buchert's expertise led him to shoot -3 on all par fives.
Notable Performances:
- Luke LeBourdais (Saginaw, Mich.) Anderson University | Senior - Luke LeBourdais earned medalist honors at the Forest Hills Fall Invitational, becoming the first Raven to become a medalist in more than 14 years. LeBourdais beat out Defiance's Sam Theissler in the second playoff round. The senior from Saginaw, Mich. tied for first with a 36-hole score of 148 (+8). LeBourdais fired rounds of 77 and 71 on the par-70 layout at Forest Hills Country Club.
