2012: Appeared in four games in his freshman campaign.

2013: The Louisville native appeared in 12 games and started eight games in his sophomore campaign ... He had 22 saves and led the team with seven wins and three shutouts ...  ranked second in the conference with a 0.74 goals-against average.

2014: Appeared in 12 games ... ranked seventh overall with 46 saves ... fourth overall with a 1.09 goals-against average.

High School: Cody's high school athletic highlight was beating Saint Xavier his sophomore year ... listed on the 2011 ESPN Top 10 college prospect, the 2011 Preseason Ballard Ranked #1 in state, and the 2010 shut-out leader (ten shutouts) ... also held 2010 All-State Honors ... Cody was a part of the 2010 All-District Team, as well as in 2008 and 2009 ... In 2010 he was the Ballard Defensive player of the year ... He was also a part of the 2010 South Oldham Tournament team ... Also in 2010, Cody was a region 8 finalist and a District 15 champion ... His team also finished their regular season ranked #1 in Kentucky and #26 in the nation ... Finally, in 2009 Cody was a part of the All-Regional Tournament team and he was voted #1 goalkeeper in the region.  


Personal: Cody is the son of Todd and Cheryl Waltrip ... He wants to pursue a degree in Finance and Marketing ... enjoys listening to music, fishing, and playing basketball ... His favorite athlete is Tim Howard, the United States goal keeper and his favorite book is Rich Dad Poor Dad ... His favorite song is I Just Want It All by Kid Ink.
