LEXINGTON, KY - Transylvania's Luke Patton has signed a professional contract with the Lexington Legends, the team announced on Sunday.
Patton capped off his collegiate career with a standout season on the mound for Transylvania during the 2026 campaign. The Ashland native appeared in 23 games, compiling a 5-1 record and five saves with a 2.13 ERA across 38.0 innings pitched. He was selected to the All-Conference First Team in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC).
Patton established himself as one of the Pioneers' most dependable bullpen arms throughout the season, limiting opposing hitters to a .167 batting average while striking out 37 batters. He delivered key performances in both conference and postseason play, helping anchor a Transylvania pitching staff that captured the HCAC Tournament Championship and advanced to the NCAA Tournament.
