DEFIANCE, Ohio - The Transylvania Men's Basketball team remained tied for first in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference standings after a 34 point win on the road in Defiance. The Pioneers defeated the Yellow Jackets 84-51. All Pioneers scored in the game.

The Pioneers were led by Jaylan Green who finished the game with 12 points. Jaxson Smith finished the game with a season high 11 points. Dakota Capps was 3-5 on field goals with 10 points. Hunter Barr and Simon Smith had 6 rebounds in the win. Sam Stone scored his first points of the season in the win.

The 33 point win is the 2nd largest margin of victory this season for the Pioneers. They won by 34 earlier this season against Defiance. Transys defense held Defiance to just 36.4% shooting for 51 points, a season low for the Pioneer defense.

Transy dominated in the paint and outscored Defiance in the paint 40-14. Transy scored 44 points off the bench in the win. Transy led the entire game.
